The arms of the Drum Gripper are manually adjustable for each drum diameter and lock automatically beneath the rolling hoops of the drum during pickup. When the drum is set down, it is released automatically. The drum handler is bump-proof so drums can not be dropped or jarred loose as they are transported over rough surfaces. The arms hold the drum securely and firmly and prevent crushing and squeezing. And since the arms take up a few more inches than the drum, the Drum Gripper is ideally suited for narrow-aisle operations.
For intermiitent drum handling, the fork-mounted Drum Gripper is idea, since it can easily slip on or off the forks of any lift truck. The apron-mounted Drum Gripper is designed for continuous use. Both have 1500-lb. capacity.
