 A Safer, More Efficient Way to Dump Materials.
Any make drop-bottom box can be used with the new, completely automatic, hydraulic box-dumper attachment from ITE. Box-dumper attachments are used extensively in industry where materials must be deposited into hoppers, gondolas or other containers. The ITE Box-Dumper makes any lift truck more versatile. The attachment mounts on any carriage between the forks, allowing the truck to perform regular duties when not dumping boxes.
The operator controls the entire dumping procedure while sitting at his seat, eliminating much of the wasted time and hazardous associated with the manual method of handling similar jobs. No more pinched fingers and toes, no more back injuries when you handle boxes the ITE way.
To operate, approach box, slowly at first and place the forks under it. Notice how the hook on the attachment automatically positions beneath the hook on the baox. Raise the forks and the hooks engage.
Dumping occurs when the operator actuates the upward movement of the attachment, raising the box off its drop-bottom floor. The floor rests on the fork tips to form a ready-made chute so dumping is even and accurate.
